"It is not surprising that our youth would naturally look towards their Elders for not only guidance and support, but for the transference of traditional skills, teachings, and languages that are slowly becoming extinct. In doing so, they are truly coming full circle, connecting the past to our future. We are very proud of them and their accomplishments."Irene Goodwin, Youth Intervenor,, Congress of Aboriginal Peoples |
