Constitutional Issues

Until such time that National Unity embraces Quebec as a willing partner in Confederation Constitutional reforms will remain a sleeping dog. But for the Congress of Aboriginal Peoples, the 91 (24) Constitutional responsibility remains high on our agenda and is at the root to all re-distributions of Federal/Provincial powers. This requires constant efforts at securing and maintaining an active role in all First Ministers Conferences, Premiers Meetings and other forums dealing with Federal/Provincial jurisdictional issues.
