In the past we have maintained an active role Internationally, as a founding member of the World Council of Indigenous Peoples (WCIP) and also independently as a national voice. Constitutional Repatriation, European Fur Lobbying, Papal visits, and International Trade Forums are just some of CAP's advocacy venue's. The Congress also continues to keep informed and involved in the development of the "Declaration of Rights of the Indigenous Peoples of World" at the United Nations.
