Media Advisory: National Aboriginal Women's Summit to Meet in Corner Brook, June 20 - 22, 2007
The Native Women's Association of Canada and Government of Newfoundland and Labrador are pleased to partner in co-hosting the first ever National Aboriginal Women's Summit (NAWS) scheduled for June 20 to 22 in Corner Brook, Newfoundland and Labrador. The Honourable Danny Williams, Premier of Newfoundland and Labrador, will co-chair the event with Beverly Jacobs, President of the Native Women's Association of Canada (NWAC).
Media Accreditation
Media representatives who wish to attend the NAWS must register with the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador. Please see the media registeration form online at http://www.gov.nl.ca/? Media must register by June 13, 2007.
Media Accomadations
Media representatives who require accomadations should indicate so when filling out the accreditation form. Those requiring accomadations should register no later than June 1, 2007.
Media Work Room
A media work room will be located at the Pepsi Centre and equipped with Internet access, phones, power outlets, television monitors and limited space for television editing equipment. A news conference room and uni-mic will be located nearby.
