Aboriginal Veterans Compensation Package
Whereas the current Aboriginal veterans compensation package, for the most part, excludes off reserve Aboriginal Veterans;
And Whereas wives of Aboriginal Veterans who died prior to 1980 and their children are ineligible to receive the $20,000 compensation package;
Therefore, be it resolved that the Congress of Aboriginal Peoples lobby the Federal government to eliminate the discriminatory treatment that off-reserve Aboriginal Veterans and their families face.
