This site includes digitized copies of several volumes of the publications of the Collections of the Minnesota Historical Society, including the Mackinac Register of baptisms, marriages and burials (1695 to 1821) in volumbes 18 and 19. The entire collection is searchable.

This site is maintained by a professional genealogist in Texas. She specializes in native North American Genealogy and has several helpful resources on her website, including a transcript of the Registers of St. Jean-Baptiste Annapolis Royal, Nova Scotia, 1702–1755 containing many Mi’kmaq marriages (choose “Native American Genealogy”, then scroll down to “Mi’kmaq” and choose the links for Mi’kmaq births, marriages, deaths and baptisms in Nova Scotia.

Maliseet & Micmac Vital Statistics From New Brunswick Church Records

This database contains records of the baptisms, marriages, and deaths of Maliseet and Mi’kmaq people living in New Brunswick. It brings together in one place church records from many parishes, facilitating an area of historical, biographical, and genealogical research which is difficult to pursue and often overlooked.
The collection includes records dating from the 1700s to 1919. The church registers represented are those known to contain a significant number of records pertaining to Aboriginal people. The collection is also limited to registers microfilmed by the Public Archives of New Brunswick and open to the public.
The database was originally published in book form as Maliseet & Micmac Vital Statistics from New Brunswick Church Records. Fredericton, Places:New Brunswick: Micmac-Maliseet Institute, 1998.

Mi’kmaq Resource Centre

The PRDH is a vast project to reconstruct the population of Québec from the French founders in 1621 up to 1800. The database now includes information from all surviving Roman Catholic parish registers up to 1799, many burial records up to 1850, and a few additional records including census returns, notarial records and .

Basic searching and information is free to all. More detailed information can be accessed through a subscription to the site (fee is based on how much information you access).
